RESTORING THE VISION OF THE END-TIMES CHURCH

Restoring the Vision is an uncompromising call to victory through endurance
and potential martyrdom for a church at the end of this age destined to
demonstrate the wisdom of God (the cross of Jesus Christ) to the powers and
authorities in the heavenly places. This is not a message of "gloom and doom"
but rather of ultimate JOY and VICTORY. However, it is a call to endurance
rather than early rapture. It is a call to the realization that Jesus came to defeat
the works of the devil, and that He has turned over the working out of that
victory to His church walking in the authority and power of His name. It is a
call to understand that we, the church, are destined to overcome satan by the
Blood of the Lamb, the word of our testimony, and by loving not our lives unto
death. His church will crush satan underfoot! (Romans 16:20) This translates
into the church being on earth during the great tribulation of the last three and
one-half years of this age for the dual purposes of overcoming satan while
being transformed into the likeness of Jesus. Glory!! There are tremendous
parallels between the public ministry of Jesus and the prophetic destiny of the
church at the end of this age. It seems that God is going to demonstrate through
the corporate body of His Son that wisdom of the cross which He demonstrated
2000 years ago through His Son as an individual. Satan has stolen this glorious
call and vision from the church, and it must be restored! This book seeks to
restore the vision of the church at the end of the age to align with the purposes
of God identified by the Holy Scriptures. The church will overcome, but it will
be by the pathway of the cross, for it is the wisdom of the cross that God
desires to demonstrate through His church to the powers and authorities in the
heavenly places. This consists of no less than the reason for which He created
all things, and is defined as His eternal purpose in Christ Jesus (Ephesians
3:8-11). It is a people walking in the Spirit of the Lamb who will follow their
Lord wherever He goes, who will hear His voice and heed. They will have
passion for their Lord and for His glory as befitting a Bride for her Husband.
They will be lovers eager to demonstrate that greatest of love that lays down

AUTHOR PROFILE Vern Kuenzi graduated in 1968 from Oregon State University with a degree in mechanical engineering. He moved to Hawaii in 1968 where he worked until March 1996 at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard. While on work assignment in the Philippines in 1976, he met his lifemate Cecilia Cantero Alphonso. They have lived in Pearl City, Oahu, Hawaii, since 1976. In 1991, the Lord used the Gulf War to attract, save, and capture Vern for His work and purposes. Vern believes that this message is his life's work and the reason for which he was created.
