This book discusses the end times from a Christian perspective: It asks the questions, "Are we living in the end times? And if so, why?" It then goes on to explain why we are in the end times by examining the pertinent parables and verses. The different rapture theories are carefully examined in the original Greek with some startling conclusions. The Great Tribulation is examined, as weel as the role of Satan, the Antichrist, Israel, the United States, Christians, and the Gog-Magog wars. Finally, it discusses the need for preparation and what a believer's mental and spiritual attitudes must be.
Over the years, as I studied certain passages concerning the rapture of the church, I was concerned about the "popular" interpretation of scriptures and the conclusions drawn. This has great importance for Christians today in how they consider their present walk with Christ and their perspective of the upcoming end-time events. Christians not suffering for their faith now will suffer persecution in the end times, and they must be prepared spiritually and mentally for the challenges they will face. Hopefully, this book will help Christians prepare to face this time of trial.

AUTHOR PROFILE
Although raised an Episcopalian, Joel C. Graves came to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ in October 1971 through the Doxa House outreach ministry of the Assemblies of God church of Signal Hill, California. He completed his college degree at Eastern Washington University in 1981, where he studied biblical Greek.
